Trouble Shooting Guide For The License Plate Cover Frame

According to the feedback from some of our customers. there is a minor problem with the hidden license plate, (for both curtain model license plate cover frame and license plate flipper), when it works for a month or longer.

Here is the problem. the plate do not work or just stuck there, while it is supposed to roll down the curtain cover or rotating 180 degree.

Below is the picture of structure of the license plate hide cover frame.

There are a few reasons for that problem.

1. The angle of the liense plate cover frame is too tight. this problem is not quality problem, it is caused that the screw is stength so tight.

2. Motors are broken down.  You can check the motor to see if it work. when connect with electricity power. this problem is usually caused by incorrect operation.

3.IC chip(we called inductor) below in the hidden license plate is damaged.  this case rarely happen. as IC chip is inbuild the cover frames.

Unless the unit is crushd or dumped on the transport for the bad package.

We suggest a fews guide for this trouble.

1. use a screwdriver to make the angle a little loose.

2.If it proves that motors do not work. then replace a new motor.

3. If all the above methods are tried. there much be the problem with the IC chip. You may ask the seller for help.

This curtain model license plate hide kit has 2 license plates, plate A and plate B. There are 3 buttons (A, B and AB) on the remote controller and main unit, Press A/B button once, the A/B curtain will roll down to cover the license plate number, press again A/B, the curtain will roll up and show the license plate number.If press AB button once, you can control the two plate at the same time.
